Diskname.prg
Written By
Barry Comer
This program will allow you to name your floppy disks after
they have been formatted. For some reason the ST will not allow
you to change the name of a disk if it has been named before. I
may have a way around this though, if I get it to work, I will
post it to the net. Just boot up the program and enter the name
that you want the disk to have.
IE: "A:\DISKNAME"
Palette Programs

Hi all, I wrote these programs because I was sick and tired of
resetting the control panel everytime I booted up the ST. These
two programs are very easy to use.
1. Set up your colours according to your taste with the control
panel.
2. Run the "PALOUT.PRG", this will save the colour palette to
disk in the file "PALETTE.INF". Included in this file is the
screen rez. that you were in at the time the file was saved.
3. Now the next time that you want to set up your favorite
colours, you will only need to run the "PALIN.PRG" program.
4. If you try and load a "PALETTE.INF" that was created in a
different rez. then you will get an error message. I will
post a new "PALIN.PRG" program later that will determine the
screen rez. and search for the proper rez. file.
5. The "PALETTE.INF" file must be in the same directory as the
"PALIN.PRG" and "PALOUT.PRG" programs.
Well thats it, pretty simple. If you have any questions about
these programs just call the number above. By the way the programs
are written in assembler, just for the record.
